Home of the Network Theatre Company
Network Theatre is a hidden gem - a "better than fringe" theatre hidden under Waterloo Station in London. We feature productions from our in-house company, Network Theatre Company, as well as visiting companies.
Our theatre is rumoured to be difficult to find, so check out our directions before your first visit.
Network Theatre is a black box studio, with configurable stage and seating. We have modern lighting and sound installations, and a full range of facilities. More details are available in our description document available on request. If you would like to use our venue for rehearsals, performances or other events, or become part of our visiting programme please contact us. We recommend TicketSource for advance ticketing.
Network Theatre Company is run on the amateur model, but we aim to work to professional standards in our productions and our venue ("fringe" or better). You need to be a member to participate, and everything is done by volunteers (we have no paid staff), managed by a volunteer committee. Many of our productions have gone on to be produced elsewhere.
Our production readings and auditions are open to all, members and non-members - just turn up at the advertised time. You can come to a reading whether you're thinking about auditioning for a part, or just for fun. If you do get a part you will need to become a member. Even if you don't get a part (or don't want one), there are always other ways you can participate.
We welcome new members at any time, whether your interest is on stage, in production, behind the scenes, in front of house, or writing - we encourage new work by our members. There's no daunting membership audition, only a simple form to fill in and subs to pay. You do need to be 18 or over.
